Control-Alt-Delete for Login in to Windows was a mistake, said Bill Gates

 

Microsoft Chairman, Bill Gates said that setting cntrl+alt+del as a way to login into the windows was a mistake.

During a fund raising event at Harvard university, Bill Gates admitted that Setting control-Alt-delete in windows for logging in, was a mistake.

'We could have had a single button, but the guy who did the IBM keyboard design didn't want to give us our single button ... and so we programmed at a low level ... it was a mistake' said Bill Gates.




David Bradely, Designer of IBM PC, Invented control-Alt-delete, during IBM's 20th Anniversary of IBM PC. 
During half hour Interview Half Hour Interview at the event bill gates said we did lots of Interesting and cleaver things, 'We were able to experiment with a lot of stuff, but more on the software side than the hardware,'.

David Bradely said, he may have invented control-Alt-delete, to login into the windows, but it was Bill Gates who made it famous.
